Co2 Lasers
CO2 lasers are amongst the oldest and most original of the laser wavelengths. These lasers are the preferred choice amongst practitioners offering laser cosmetic surgery & treatment.
They are extremely reliable and for many years were the gold standard in facial resurfacing & other laser treatments.
The advent of fractional technology has made this wavelength once again the gold standard in facial resurfacing with improved safety and reduced downtime for the patients, while still delivering very impressive improvements in wrinkles, scarring and pigmentation. These laser equipments are ideal for numerous cosmetic surgery procedures.
Designed with ergonomic use in mind, the 50 kg CO2 fractional is easy to handle and manoeuvre.
Slim TowerThe slim tower with a wide base and lockable wheels provides for stability and manoeuvrability. The hand piece is connected to a seven piece, spring balanced, reticulated arm allowing unrestricted movement around the treatment area. |

Lightweight Hand PieceThe computerised pattern generator (CPG) uses a microprocessor controlled positioning system to achieve a uniform delivery of the treatment area. The machine delivers a 300 Micron spot size. Spacing can be as close together as 200 Micron or as far apart as 2 mm. There are four basic shapes each of which can be stretched in two directions. The hand piece is lightweight and balanced over the patient for ease of treatment. |

Uniform DistributionThis CPG ensures a uniform distribution of energy in a well-defined area resulting in identical and improved treatment results. A sensitive touch screen allows for quick and easy adjustments of shape, power and spacing. |

Slim Hand PieceThe hand piece is quick to change. A slim pencil design hand piece allows the laser to be used in continuous mode as a surgical scalpel for cutting or coagulating, or pulsed mode for drilling holes. |

The Clear ChoiceWhen combined with skin cooling it is possible to treat patients without anaesthetic using their pain reaction as a guide to depth of treatment. This is very useful when treating dark skin types. Pulse duration is set by altering duty time in a range from 100 Microns to 9900 Microns. Idle time or the gaps between pulses can be set from 10 Microns to one second. This flexibility allows one to set for maximum ablation by having short high-powered pulses, or for increased thermal coagulation by having longer pulses and low energy. This allows the cosmetic laser surgery & treatment to be optimally adjusted to the individual patient and the treated area. The machine will automatically calculate and display the energy per pulse. This allows the operator to assess the strength of the laser treatment before it is delivered. With 30 W of power this is a very powerful and fast laser. It has a very robust construction and is designed for long hours of continuous use. |
