Q switched Nd:YAG

Macquarie Lasers supply tattoo removal laser equipment to cosmetic surgeons in Australia. Our range of tattoo removal equipment includes the Nd:YAG laser. The Nd:YAG laser is now recommended for the control of active acne lesions, oily skin, non-ablative resurfacing for wrinkles and large pores through collagen regeneration. Treatment is suitable for all skin types including Fredrickson type V.

Frequency Doubled

The Q switched Nd:YAG is frequency doubled. This means that the original wavelength of 1064 nm can also be delivered as 532 nm. 1064 nm is invisible and 532 nm appears as a green light.

Pistol Style Handpiece

Power is delivered via a flexible cable to a pistol style handpiece. Spot size is 3 mm.

The menu is available in 9 languages.

Touch Screen

The tattoo removal laser is controlled with a touch screen user interface on an LCD display

Training

Training it is recommended that all operators have completed a laser safety officer training programme. .
